French Peak Vineyard, a family-owned business, specialises in hand-harvested, premium quality wines using organic practices. As Banks Peninsula's oldest vineyard, planting its first vines in 1989, it offers a perfect day trip for wine tasting near Christchurch. Nestled in an extinct volcano, this boutique vineyard provides Cellar door wine tastings, light bites, refreshments, and stunning photo opportunities as well as gift cards.

The Wagon & The Loft

French Peak offers two unique vineyard accommodations near Akaroa, each designed for a luxurious and relaxing country escape. The Wagon is a boutique retreat perfect for couples, featuring a queen-size bed with breathtaking ocean and an outdoor hot tub with vineyard views.

The Loft is a spacious, self-contained option for couples or small families of up to four. The modern bathroom and access to outdoor amenities like a BBQ and pétanque area make it ideal for relaxing and enjoying the stunning countryside views.
